The client faced several challenges with their existing software portal that were impacting both user experience and operational efficiency.

The portal lacked a modern interface, making it difficult for users to access products and services quickly, while existing users required a smooth transition to the new platform without disruption to their accounts or workflows. New users also had to activate software licenses manually using keys, creating friction and delays in product access. Additionally, clients had limited visibility and control over their purchases, downloads, licenses, and subscriptions, requiring multiple steps to manage their accounts effectively. The goal was to address these challenges by creating a modern, intuitive web portal that simplifies access, enhances the user experience, and consolidates all account management tools in one place.

The Result

The new portal was successfully launched, with all existing users smoothly transitioned from the legacy platform.

The traditional license key activation process was replaced with login-based identification, simplifying access for new users and significantly improving the onboarding experience. A grace period was implemented, allowing users seamless access during account setup or renewal, while activation-related support requests dropped substantially. Clients can now efficiently manage their software, licenses, and subscriptions in a single, unified platform, and the portal’s functionality was expanded with multilingual support and regional customization, enhancing accessibility for a global user base.
